Arizona Down Payment Assistance Programs

Many Arizona first time homebuyers are unaware of the various Grant, Bond and Zero Down Programs available to assist with down payment expenses.

With programs ranging from State offered Grants and Zero Down VA Benefits to City, Rural and Hero opportunities, there are a multitude of options for qualifying homebuyers searching for Arizona homes for sale.

Many Arizona Down Payment Assistance (DPA) programs do not require the funds to be paid back if you remain in the home for a number of years (each program varies) and some programs offer down payment assistance in Arizona as high as $15,000.

Most programs require minimum credit scores, have income maximums and some set a cap on the maximum purchase price of the home. Guidelines are updated often and new programs come along frequently for first time homebuyers. A knowledgable Home Loan Officer well versed in down payment assistance programs can help advise you on which programs you may qualify for based on your current situation.

Fairway requires intensive training for all Loan Officers and support staff on local and national programs to ensure our homebuyers are in capable hands.

Below is a list of the most popular and commonly used down payment assistance programs in Arizona. There are dozens of city and specialty programs, too many to list here, that are available as well.

To find out which program is best for you, schedule a complimentary consultation with a Down Payment Assistance Specialist or VA Loan Specialist today! Simply fill out the request form on this page and a representative will contact you promptly.

Arizona VA Loans:

Unlike most Arizona down payment assistance programs, this loan is 100% financing or no money down and has no monthly mortgage insurance.   READ MORE
