Colorado veteran receives $10,000 grant from local Loan Officers and Realtors.
Carey Duval (US Army) continues active duty after partial amputation.
Carey Duval lost part of his right arm in Afghanistan while serving in the United States Army - but not his determination nor his sense of humor! And he continues to serve in
the US Army - more determined than ever that the loss of a part of a limb will NOT deter him from service! What an amazing young man and hometown hero!

While on leave to visit his hometown in Northern Colorado - and thinking he was only going to tell his story to a crowd of 200 real estate agents - he and his wife received a family grant of $10,000 donated by loan officers at local Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation Branches, the American Warrior Initiative and real estate agents in Colorado.
